Jean drove the schoolbus when I was young and as someone who came from a "difficult" home, her kindness was greatly appreciated and still remembered fondly all these many years later. And then as an adult, I would see Jean at the Y and she remembered me - which I found extraordinary. These are just a few examples of how special and caring Jean was. She will forever remain in my heart.

Jean is finally with Our Savior. She was so ready to leave this Earth. We unfortunately will not be able to attend her wake or funeral, as we will be in NYC with family. We will remember her great faith and always upbeat attitude for whatever life brought her. God rest her soul. Don & Kathy Peters

Many of the most precious family memories that we have had are from the Farm. The warmth and love we felt every time we visited will always stay in our hearts. Jean was a special woman and very loved by our family. I have no doubt that Dad was there to welcome her home. I take great comfort in knowing that Dad is up there with Jean and Gene laughing about old times. Lisa McCoy

Some of my best memories in life are visiting at the farm for Thanksgiving and eating Aunt Jean's and Grandma's cooking. The pies staying warm on the wood burning stove in the kitchen was the best. We played Euchre at the kitchen table, Dallas Cowboys football game on the TV, and listened to Uncle Gene and Dad argue about politics. It doesn't get any better than that. Sad at the loss of Aunt Jean, but she is seated at the kitchen table with Jesus, Mom, Dad, Uncle Gene, Grandma and Grandpa suffering no pain or politics. We will all be together again one day.
