Obituary of Theresa Walters

Waterloo - Theresa Mary Walters, 63, of Waterloo, died Sunday (January 19, 2014) at Keuka Comfort Care Home in Penn Yan. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 23) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. Members of Warner VanRiper Post 435, American Legion Auxiliary will have a memorial service at 2:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The celebration and remembrance of life service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 23) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Keuka Comfort Care Home, P.O. Williams St, Waterloo, NY, 13165. Theresa was born May 1, 1950 in Sodus, the daughter of Paul A. and Dorothy L. Kidd Plucinik. She was a graduate of Clyde Central High School. Theresa began employment with Parker-Hannifin in Lyons working there for a number of years, then she worked at Master Belt in Clyde. Later, she was employed with IEC in Newark. She was a member of Warner Van Riper Post 435, American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by husband, L. Edward Walters of Waterloo; son, James Gibson, Jr. of Waterloo; daughters, Lena Manwaring of Waterloo and Sarah (Stewart) Scarborough of Clifton Springs; step-daughter, Pamela (Edward) Neumire of Ovid; nine grandchildren; brothers, Stephen (Laura) Plucinik of S. Butler, Paul (Paula) Plucinik of Clyde and Dennis (Marsha) Plucinik of Baldwinsville; sisters, Sandy (Raymond) Grifa of Waterloo, Mary (Ronald "Mo") DeChick of Auburn, Kathryn (Ronald) Bell of Deland, FLA, Ruth Plucinik of Waterloo; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
