AUBURN/WATERLOO – Robert W. Bishop, Jr., 59, passed away Saturday (November 16, 2024) at Auburn Community Hospital.

A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday (November 26) at Oaklawn Cemetery, Phelps, NY. The Celebration of Life will be 3 p.m. Tuesday (November 26) at The Gould, 108 Fall St., Seneca Falls, NY.

Robert was born February 11, 1965, in Waterloo, NY, the son of Robert W. Sr. and Helen Coffin Bishop. He was a high school graduate. Robert was employed with various local Finger Lakes area businesses. He was an avid fisherman and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by sons Robert W. Bishop, III of Auburn, NY, Ryan (Valerie Prachyl) T. Bishop of Seneca Falls, NY, Isaiah Bishop of Auburn, NY, Cameron Bishop of Seneca Falls, NY, and Zachary Bishop, of Waterloo, NY; daughter Phoebe Wilmot of Brockport, NY; grandchildren Ryan K. Bishop, Brantley Bishop, and Lacey Bishop; brothers Preston Wheeler, Curtis (Brenda) Wheeler, Jason (Amanda) Bishop, and Andy (Christena) Bishop all of Waterloo, NY; sisters Cindy Bishop, Kay Griffith, Candee (Scott) Campfield, Tammy Bishop all of Waterloo, NY, and Penny (Doyle) Johnson of Nederland, TX; great aunt Gladys Del Papa of Waterloo, NY; aunt Doris Rayburn of Rochester, NY; many cousins, nieces and nephews; very good friend Tim Smith of Auburn, NY.

Robert was predeceased by his mother Helen Coffin and his father Robert W. Sr. (Mabel) Bishop.
