WATERLOO — Amy E. Westfall, 80, passed away peacefully Tuesday (November 5, 2024) at her home with her loving family by her side.
Family and friends may call 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM Friday (Nov. 8th) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY. A celebration of life will 12 PM Saturday (Nov. 9th) at Amy's Checkered Flag, 29 W. Main St., Waterloo, NY. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, NY.

Amy was born May 18, 1944, the daughter of Bernard and Alice Ramsey Bradley in Newark, NY. She was a graduate of Newark Central High School, and went on to work for various employers. Amy was a former employee at Seneca Nursing Home and a bartender at The Stein. Since 1980, she has owned and operated Amy's Checkered Flag in Waterloo.
Amy is survived by significant partner of 34 years John Avery of Waterloo, NY; daughters Shirley Westfall of New Port Richey, FL and Wendy Reynolds of Huntersville, NC; son Joe-Bob Tighe of Waterloo, NY; grandchildren Nicole (Dan) Nunley, Naomi (Miguel) Martinez, and Bobbie (McKenzie Hurd) O'Connor; 4 great-grandchildren; and brothers Meryl "Wordie" (Beverly) Wolford of Homer, AL and Dennis (Brenda) Bradley of Lyons, NY; and her beloved cat Petey.
She was predeceased by her parents and sister Janice.
