Waterloo - William "Bill" Randell Allison, Jr., 84, of 200 Douglas Drive, died Wednesday (Nov. 13, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva. There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 4) at First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo. Rev. Sarah West, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, 42 E. Main St., Waterloo, 13165. William was born Sept. 15, 1929, in Seneca Falls, the son of William R. and Alice G. Post Allison. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School and Hobart College. Bill was employed for many years, as a chemical engineer, with GE in Schenectady. Returning to Waterloo, Bill and Esther, his wife, owned and operated Allison's Casual Clothes for a number of years. As a volunteer, he enjoyed dispatching for North Seneca Ambulance, for twenty-five years. He was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Waterloo and Seneca Lodge 113, F. & A.M. He was also a member of Gideon International. He is survived by two daughters, Nancy Becker, and Brenda (Jeff) Oltz of Pensacola, FL; grandsons, Steven Becker, Craig and Jordon Reynolds, both of Seneca Falls; brothers, David (Marie) Allison of Lenoir City, TN, James (Karen) Allison of Tucson, AZ, and Robert (Sylvia) Allison Tequesta, FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Esther C. Punnett Allison, who died Dec. 4, 1996. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
