Obituary of Laura Marie Hummer

SENECA FALLS — Laura Marie Hummer, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday (June 22, 2024) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY with her loving family by her side. A celebration of life will be 1 PM Sunday (July 28) at the Moose Club, 453 Waterloo-Geneva Rd, Waterloo, NY. Laura was born June 15, 1942 in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Dominic and Dorothy Tracy Tantalo. She was a graduate of Waterloo Central High School, and worked in administration for Ontario ARC. She dedicated her time to the people at the Washington Street home in Geneva, NY. Laura also cooked for the old Romulus Hotel, and worked at the Seneca Nursing Home. Laura is survived by sons Gregory (Cassidy O'Malley) Turri of Seneca Falls, NY and David Turri of Port Crane, NY; stepsons Robert (Laurie) Hummer of Waterloo, NY and Charles Hummer of Utah; brother Dominic Tantalo of Muncy, PA; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her parents.
