Vicky Lynn Shattuck Obituary

FAYETTE — Vicky Lynn Shattuck, 58, passed away Sunday (May 12, 2024) at Geneva General Hospital with her loving family by her side.


In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be at convenience of the family in Botkin Cemetery, Montezuma, OH.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, PO Box 37839, Boone, IA 50037-0839. On the memo line please write: In memory of Vicky Shattuck - Thank you for your service.


Vicky was born July 21, 1965 to Donald Dean Temple and Arlene Lee Bachman in Lima, OH. After high school, she was employed with various businesses in the Finger Lakes area, spending the past 18 years working for Sodexo, Hobart & William Smith College in Geneva, NY. She was the life of any party and we want her to be remembered for who she was. Vicky devoted most of her time to her grandkids and she loved spending time with them, her grandkids were the light of her life. She married the love of her life, Donald, in 1991.


Vicky is survived by her loving husband, Donald E. Shattuck, II of Geneva, NY; daughters Jassmine (Preston Williams-Hennigan) Canter of Waterloo, NY, Tasha Temple and Crista Canter of Columbus, OH; grandchildren Kaylynn, Raylynn, Travis, Brenley, Jaylynn and Willow; great-grandchildren Lucas, Josilynn, and Ivy; siblings Randy, Rex, Terry, and Robert Temple, Glen Dunlap, Rhona Price, Sherry Free, and Regina Brigner; and her mom.


She was predeceased by her son, Joshua Canter; father Donald Temple; and brother Chris Temple.
