WATERLOO – Elaine M. Principio, 77, of Romulus, NY, formerly of Waterloo, NY, passed away Sunday (April 28, 2024) at Geneva General Hospital. Family and friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday (May 7) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (May 8) at the funeral home. Rev. Ellen Donnan, retired Presbyterian minister, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Elaine was born August 4, 1946, in Geneva, NY, the daughter of William G. and Helen Baran Wade. She was a graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Elaine was employed for many years with Elston's Electronics in Geneva, NY, and will be remembered as a cook at Connie's Diner in Waterloo, NY. She is survived by her son Richard Principio of Romulus, NY; stepsons Ronald R. (Maria) Principio of Goose Creek, SC, Albert "Eddie" (Bonnie) Principio of Geneva, NY, Jeffrey (Annette) Principio of Canandaigua, NY, Archie Principio of Geneva, NY; stepdaughter Julie (Pedro Carrasquel) Pierson of Phelps, NY; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; cousins and two nieces. Elaine was predeceased by her parents; husband Ronald R. Principio; grandson, Aaron Jahna; stepdaughter Karen Dominquez; and brother Stan Wade.
