GENEVA — Jessie Anna Karalunas passed away Saturday (March 9, 2024) at Strong Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side.

The funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday (March 16) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 West Main St., Waterloo, NY. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Geneva, NY.

Jessie was born June 1, 1972 in Geneva, NY, the daughter of Carlos C. Maldonado and Christine Marie Karalunas. She was a 1990 graduate of South Seneca School, and received an Associates Degree from Finger Lakes Community College. Jessie worked as a Food Service Manager for Huntington Living Center in Waterloo for many years.

Jessie is survived by her children, son Joshua (Matthew Clark) J. Karalunas of Seneca Falls, NY and daughter Alexis V. A. Karalunas of Geneva, NY; uncles George (Deb) Karalunas of Jamesville, NY and aunt Terry (Joe) Hagen of Palmyra, NY.

She was predeceased by her parents; grandparents Hazel A. Karalunas and Daniel E. Karalunas, Sr.; and uncle Daniel E. Karalunas, Jr.
