We are saddened to read the news of Doris's passing and wish to extend our condolences to Peter, Charlie, and the Houghton family I served with Doris on the town's planning board. Smart , organized and civic minded were a few of her many qualities that I was able to observe. Pete and Doris are to be commended for their time and efforts in the restoration of their beautiful cobblestone home in Junius. God Bless, Chris & Sandra Tarr

I hiked most of the finger Lakes Trail with Doris. At one point we stayed over night at her mothers home in order to make an eastern the trail head early on Saturday morning. A good hostess,an good hiking companion and a good friend. Susan s. Collier
