Robie Darwing Lewis Obituary
WATERLOO – Robie D. Lewis, 68, passed away Thursday (September 7, 2023) at Huntington Living Center, Waterloo, NY.
In keeping with Robie's wishes, there will be no calling hours or service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165.
Robie was born February 7, 1955, in Watertown, NY, the son of Embil B. and Eva M. Blackmore Lewis. He owned and operated R. Lewis Construction in Wolcott, NY, for many years.
He is survived by his best friend and caretaker, Michele L. Smith of Waterloo, NY; son Michael Lewis (Nicole Smith) of Syracuse, IN; sister Shelby Snyder of Lyons, NY; and several nieces and nephews.
Robie is predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Orville Lewis, Leland Blackmore, Paul Lewis and Jessie Lewis.
