WATERLOO– Luis M. Leon-Llamas, 48, of Waterloo, NY, passed away Monday (April 10, 2023) at Rochester General Hospital. Family and friends may call from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday (April 24) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Carlo Sanchez, a priest with Our Lady of Peace Parish in Geneva, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. Luis was born September 15, 1974, in Casablanca, Guanajuato, Mexico, the son of Manuel Leon-Zavala and Magdalena Llamas-Martinez. While living in the Finger Lakes area, Luis was employed for the Monterrey Restaurant and other Mexican restaurants in this area. He is survived by his wife, Ma De Jesus Salcido-Vega; children, Luis, Jonathan, Neithan, Yazil, Alexander and Omar Leon-Salcido; several grandchildren; brothers, Samuel and Saul Leon-Llamas; sisters, Rosa, Irma, Veronica and Yolanda Leon-Llamas; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Luis was predeceased by a son, Cristian Leon-Salcido; brother, Carlos Leon-Llamas; and sister, Graciela Leon-Llamas.
