LYONS – Kenneth L. Chase, 82, of Lyons, NY, passed away Sunday (March 19, 2023) at his home. The Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday (April 1) at the Seeley B. Parish Post 457, American Legion, 1346 State Route 96, Phelps, NY, 14532. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seeley B. Parish Post 457, American Legion. Ken was born April 26, 1940, in Geneva, NY, the son of Charles E. and Rena Campfield Chase. He was a Vietnam War Army veteran serving from 1958 to 1961. He owned and operated Ken's Custom Color, and was known as a, one of a kind artist and airbrush specialist. He was a longtime truck driver for various companies over the years. Ken was a longtime member of the American Legion and Veterans Motorcycle Club. He was a train enthusiast who also loved classic cars, vintage motorcycles and animals. He is survived by his wife Carol J. McCann Chase; sons Christopher Chase and Randyl Chase (Virginia) both of Columbus, OH; daughter Lori Harrington of Oswego, NY; stepson Daniel (Andrea) Stephens of AL; stepdaughters Marnie (Chris) Pealo and Dawn (Ricky) Goodman both of Seneca Falls, NY; grandchildren Randyl Shane Chase, Kyle Stephens, Amanda E. Dart, Christopher John Pealo, Jr., Brandon Chase Pealo, Jade Beth Pealo, Shawn M. Stephens, Charity Rose Stephens and others not listed; several nieces and nephews.
