Obituary of Luella Bauer

Waterloo - Luella May Bauer, 83, of Waterloo, died Thursday (August 29, 2013) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waterloo, where she has been a resident for four years. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 21) at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1072 Rt. 96, Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one's choice. Luella was born May 26, 1930 in Waterloo, the daughter of Seguard and Gertrude Barrons Keerps. She was a graduate of Waterloo High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Finger Lakes area. Luella was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Waterloo. She was a compassionate and caring person taking care of others. She also loved animals. She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Joseph) Sullivan of Clyde; sons, Daniel (Susan) Bauer of Waterloo and Robert Bauer of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Summer (Eric) Dombrowski, Kristin Bauer, Shane Sullivan, Carolyn (Edward) First, and Tyler Bauer; brother, Seguard "Bud" (MaryAnn) Keerps of Westfield, PA; half-sister, Janice Keerps of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Raymond Bauer, who died, August 6, 2012 and one sister Pearl Dorn. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
