TYRE/SENECA FALLS – Donald R. Harrier, 80, the Tyre and Seneca Falls area, passed away Monday (October 31, 2022) at Geneva General Hospital, Geneva, NY. Family and friends may call from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Friday (November 4) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday (November 5) at the funeral home. Rev. Leah Ntuala, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls, will officiate. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. There will be a reception 12:00 p.m. at Clam's Man's Party House, 64 Auburn Rd., Seneca Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Don was born December 1, 1941, in Waterloo, NY, the son of Theodore and Bernice E. Sanger Harrier. He was a 1959 graduate of Mynderse Academy. Don has always worked on the Harrier family farm, until 1997 when he retired. He served on the Tyre Planning Board and the Seneca County Water and Soil Conservation Committee. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol A. Corrigan Harrier; son David Harrier of Seneca Falls, NY; sister-in-law Joan Moore of Clyde, NY; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ellen and Joseph Bellizzi of Clyde, NY.
