Obituary of Mary Beth Gray

TYRE/SENECA FALLS – M. Beth Gray, 64, passed away peacefully at her home with her loving family by her side on Sunday (October 30, 2022). Family and friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday (November 4) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, Waterloo, NY. There will be a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lifetime Care Hospice, 330 Monroe Ave., Rochester, NY, 14607 or Fetch a Friend Animal Shelter, 92 Garden St., Seneca Falls, NY, 13148. Beth was born May 18, 1958 in Dubois, PA, the daughter of John, Jr., and June Bernice Henninger Lavosky. Beth was a 1976 graduate of Waterloo Central School District. She graduated in 1978 with an Associate's degree as a Registered Nurse from Auburn Community College. Beth began her nursing career at Taylor-Brown Memorial Hospital in Waterloo, NY. Leaving her position at Taylor-Brown she worked from various area hospitals. She retired from her nursing career after 20 years of being a Seneca Falls Central School District nurse. Beth was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waterloo, NY. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Steven F. Gray; daughters Stephanie (Rod) Ellerstein of Geneva, NY, Kaitlin Gray of Seneca Falls, NY, and Kimberly (Chad) Dodsworth, of Palmyra, NY; grandchildren Patrick, Andrew, and Eleanor; brothers David (Gaile) Henninger of Treasure Lake, PA and Mark (Karen) Lavosky of Manchester, NY; sister Marcia Harrison of Waterloo, NY; many cousins, nieces and nephews; father-in-law Gerald Gray of Waterloo, NY; and sister-in-law Cindi (David) Dawley of Palm Coast, FL.
