WATERLOO – Donald E. Snyder, 74, passed away Saturday (May 7, 2022), with his loving family by his side at the Bath VA Medical Center, Bath, NY. In keeping with the wishes of the family there will be no calling hours. The memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday (June 4) at the First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, 42 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY. Rev. Anita Milne, pastor of the church, will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, 42 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Don was born January 12, 1948, the son of Walter L. and Shirley J. Brunskill Snyder. He was a graduate of Waterloo High School. Don was a Vietnam U.S. Army veteran having served in Vietnam. Returning from the service, he was a mechanic for various automobile garages and later, he worked for construction companies as a heavy equipment mechanic. Don was a member of Waterloo Memorial Post, 6433. He was Cubmaster for Pack 81 at First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo. He is survived by his loving wife, Molly M. Millis Snyder; sons Stephen Snyder and Christopher Snyder both of Waterloo, NY; brothers Walter L. (Helen) Snyder, Jr. of Newton Falls, OH and William (Debbie) Snyder of Waterloo, NY; sister Sherron Lis of Tampa, FL; many cousins, nieces and nephews.
