JUNIUS – Edmund "Ed" Everett Fisk, passed away Tuesday (February 15, 2022) at home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday (April 16) at North Seneca Sportsman's Club, 334 NY-318, Phelps, NY. A private funeral service will be at a later date for the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Junius Fire Department, Junius Volunteer Fire Department, 647 Dublin Rd., Clyde, NY, 14433 or the American Cancer Society, 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY, 14620. Ed was born to Everett and Pearl Fisk, May 20, 1947, the first, born twin with his sister, Elaine. Ed graduated from Cayuga Community College and then attended Cortland College before being drafted into the Army. He served from 1969 to 1970 in Vietnam and until 1975 in the Reserves. Ed was a dedicated farmer and community member. He was a lifelong member of the Junius Volunteer Fire Department. Ed was member of the Junius Planning Board and the Board of Assessment Review. He is survived by siblings David (Brenda) Fisk, Sr. and Elaine Fisk; nephews David (Yavonne) Fisk, Jr. and Daniel Fisk; great-nieces Dr. Brittany Fisk and Jessica Fisk; and good friend Jason Thorn. Ed was never far from his canine companions Jack and Daisy. Ed was predeceased by his parents Everett in 1991 and Pearl in 2018.
