Obituary of Gladys Ina Kidd

SENECA FALLS/WATERLOO – G. Ina Kidd, 97, of Seneca Falls, NY, formerly of Waterloo, NY, passed away peacefully Monday (February 28, 2022) at home with her loving family with her. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday (March 12) at First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, NY. Rev. Anita Milne, pastor of the church, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Varick, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo, 42 E. Main St., Waterloo, NY, 13165 or Honor Flight Rochester, P.O. Box 23581, Rochester, NY, 14692. Ina was born June 12, 1924, in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of Julius and Bertha Bose Kumkey. She was a 1942 graduate of Waterloo High School. For a short time, she was employed with Shuron Optical in Geneva, NY. Ina was an 85 years member of First Presbyterian Church of Waterloo. Her greatest pride and joy was her family, and she cherished spending time with them. She is survived by her daughters Donna (Frank) Schoenacker of Ashville, NY and Carol (Brent) Gibbs of Seneca Falls, NY; grandchildren Kevin (Khimberly) Schoenacker, Steven (Amanda) Schoenacker, Kristy (George) Aldrich, and Jeffrey (Stacey) Gibbs; great-grandchildren Stellah, Jude, Julian, Amelia, Hannah, Maria, and Elias; several nieces and nephews.
