Obituary of Mina Lucille Burgeson

WATERLOO - Mina Burgeson, 93, of Waterloo, NY, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022.
Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, January 15 at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. David Underwood, pastor of Waterloo Baptist Church, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY.
Those attending calling hours and or funeral service MUST wear face masks.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waterloo Baptist Church, P. O. Box 108, Waterloo, NY, 13165.
Mina was born in Syracuse, NY. She was a graduate of Union Springs Central School. Mina travelled extensively and lived in various locations throughout the United States and Europe during the 22 years of Walter's military service. In retirement Mina and Walter resumed travelling throughout the United States in an RV. Mina was a cashier for various grocery stores. She assisted her husband in owning and managing the Fisherman's Friend in Waterloo for 25 years. Mina attended Waterloo Baptist Church. She served as a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Waterloo Sportsman's Club. Mina enjoyed fishing, crocheting, reading and Bible study. She had a ready smile, infectious laugh and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her sons Dennis (Marie) Burgeson, David Burgeson, Brian (Julie) Burgeson, and Mark (Judith) Burgeson; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister Melba Rice; and many nieces and nephews.
Mina was predeceased by her husband Walter Burgeson; daughter Deborah Lalli; parents Paul and Grace; brother Lowell; and sisters Bernice Speich, Gretchen Sinesi, Lila Maris, Margie Lama, and daughter in law Kathy (David) Burgeson.
