WATERLOO – Marjorie C. Warren, 100, of Waterloo, NY, passed away peacefully Sunday (December 19, 2021) at Fairport Baptist Home.
A memorial service will be announced in the Spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 101 E. William St., Waterloo, NY, 13165.
Marjorie was born March 26, 1921, in Towanda, PA, the daughter of Robert H. and Orrilla E. Johnson Coolbaugh. She was a 1938 graduate of Groton High School. Marjorie attended Tusculum College in Greenville, TN for one and a half years. She then attended Mandl School for Medical Assistants in NYC for one year. While living in Waterloo, she was school secretary for LaFayette School, retiring in 1986 after 21 years of dedicated employment for Waterloo Central School District. During her retirement she worked as a substitute secretary for Waterloo Central School District, until 2008. Marjorie was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and Women of St. Paul's. She was also a longtime member of Winonah - Arazina Rebekah Lodge 82. Being a very active senior citizen, she would volunteer for the Seneca County Senior Center. She was a member of Retired Seniors Volunteer Program. Through this program she volunteered at Border City Multiage School, for the Main Street Multiage Program, and later LaFayette School.
She is survived by daughters Nancy (Russell) Mendola of Waterloo, NY, Wendy (Dennis) Doyle of Romulus, and Mary (Robert) Powers of Waterloo, NY; grandchildren Christopher (Regina) Mendola, Meredith (David) Burns, Pamela (Benjamin) Gilmore, Patricia (Christopher Ringquist) Peterson, and Casey (Ashley) Doyle; step-granddaughter Cassandra (Antonio) Pesante; great-grandchildren MeiLi Ringquist, Sadiya Ringquist, Sabine Gilmore, Elise Gilmore, and Alexandria Doyle; step great-grandchildren Joshua Adam (Heather) Magill, Kelli (Michael) Wood, Amaya Soto, Aaliyah Coleman, Antonio Pesante, and Alexavier Pesante; step great-great grandchildren Elijah Magill, Scarlett Wood, and Emilia Wood; brother Robert Coolbaugh of Waleska, GA; sister Donna Cole; and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was predeceased by her husband Thomas W. Warren.
