WATERLOO – Ronald G. Bonney, 72, of Waterloo, NY, passed away Thursday (October 28, 2021) at Geneva General Hospital, with his family by his side. There will be a Celebration of Life 4 p.m. Monday (November 1) at Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V.F. W., 29 W. Elisha St., Waterloo, NY In lieu flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA, 02241-7005. Ron was born January 30, 1949, in Lyons, NY, the son of Robert N. and Irene Knapp Bonney. He was a 1968 graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Ron graduated from Freeman Business Institute in Geneva, NY. He retired from Goulds Pumps after many years of employment. He served in the Army National Guard from 1969 to 1975. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda L. Bonney; sons Robert (Angela) Bonney of Concord, NC, Gary (Christina) Bonney of Knoxville, TN, and Timothy (Kelly) Bonney of Victor, NY; grandchildren Michael Bonney, Noah Bonney, Jacob Luffman, Emily Luffman, Tenlee Luffman, Kinslee Bonney, Taylor Bonney, Ethan Bonney, Callan Bonney, and Jace Bonney; great-granddaughter Paisley Seager; and brother Roger A.
