CLYDE – Virginia "Ginny" K. Maddox, 77, of Clyde, NY, passed away peacefully Sunday (September 26, 2021) at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse, NY. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday (October 2) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo, NY. The memorial service will immediately follow at the funeral home. David Price, pastor of Fellowship of Faith, Lock Berlin, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Roosevelt Children's Center, c/o ARC Wayne, 150 Van Buren St., Newark, NY, 14513. Ginny was born May 8, 1944, in Corning, NY, the daughter of John W. and Mildred J. Chamberlain Maddox. She retired from G. W. Lisk, Inc. in Clifton Springs, NY, after many years of employment. She was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose in Geneva, NY. Ginny was also a former member of American Legion Post 227 in Lyons, NY. She is survived by her significant other Walter P. Hefferon of Clyde, NY; sons Kevin P. (Stephanie) Maddox of Clyde, NY and Todd M. Maddox of Collins, NY; stepsons David P. Hefferon of Waterloo, NY, Aaron (JoAnn) Hefferon of Waterloo, NY, and Timothy C. Hefferon of Skiatook, OK; twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; sisters Helen M. Stewart of Waterloo, NY and Jacqueline Ward of Seneca Falls, NY; many nieces and nephews. Ginny was predeceased by her parents; stepson Walter A. Hefferon; and brother Wayne Maddox.
