WATERLOO – Carl R. Darling, 69, of Waterloo, NY, peacefully passed away Thursday (July 22, 2021) at Living Center North in Geneva. Family and friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday (August 3) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to Geneva General Hospital Dialysis Center, 196 North St., Geneva, NY, 14456. Carl was born December 20, 1951, in Penn Yan, NY, the son of Robert R. and Estella Anderson Darling. Carl began working at Seneca Foods in Geneva, NY. Later, he owned and operated Carl's Lawn Service for many years. He was a member of Warner VanRiper Post 435, American Legion. He is survived by his daughter Sherri K. Darling of Seneca Falls, NY; sisters Barbara Van Orden of Waterloo, NY and Teresa Darling of Geneva, NY; brother Michael (Laurie) Darling of Waterloo, NY; his special companion Beth Van De Mortel of Waterloo, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
