Obituary of Frances Henrietta Fritz

SENECA FALLS – Frances H. Fritz, 93, of Seneca Falls, NY, passed away at her home Thursday (July 1, 2021). Family and friends may call 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday (July 8, 2021) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home, Waterloo, NY. A graveside service will be 1 p.m. Friday (July 9, 2021) at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton, CT. Frances was born November 21, 1927, in Upper Darby, PA, the daughter of Frank A. and Henrietta Merrill Cantin. She graduated from Shelton High School in Shelton, CT and later graduated from Traphagen School of Fashion in NYC. Frances married in 1949 the love of her life, Raymond C. Fritz. Frances and Ray lived most of their married lives in Seneca Falls, except for a brief period of time when they lived in Ohio, returning to Seneca Falls. Frances as a real estate agent, owned and operated Yorkstate Homes in Seneca Falls. She was a member of Seneca Falls United Methodist Church. Frances was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Chapter SA-GO-YE-WAT-HA. She is survived by her children Raymond Dean (Bonnie) Fritz of Penn Yan, NY, Gaynell Fritz of Fairfax, VA, and Francine Dougherty of Seneca Falls, NY; several grandchildren and step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren and many step great-grandchildren and step great-great-grandchildren.
