Obituary of Susan Thompson

Waterloo - Susan V. Thompson, 73, formerly of 659 Packwood Rd., died Friday (June 21, 2013) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva. Friends may call 9 a.m to 11 a.m. Wednesday (June 26) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. (June 26) at the funeral home. Rev. Naomi Forrwar-Randall, interim pastor of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 101 E. William St., Waterloo, 13165. Susan was born August 31, 1939, in Ithaca, the daughter of John B., Jr. and Natalie G. Adneau Mulford. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School for Girls in Peekskill, NY. She earned her LPN from Geneva School of Nursing. She was employed as an LPN at The Gables in Palmyra and Geneva Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waterloo. She was a member St. Paul's Episcopal Church Womens Group. She is survived by daughters, Pauline Thompson of Waterloo, Beth (Robert) Stowe of Honeoye, and Christine (Fletcher) Burchett of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Brandon Stowe, Gavin and Rylan Burchett; three children from Paul's former marriage, Terry Thompson of Baltimore, MD, Robin Adam of Seneca Falls, and Steve Thompson of Waterloo; one step-granddaughter; four step great-grandchildren; brothers, John (Margaret) Mulford of Phelps and Fred (Elna) Mulford of Mebourne, FL; and many nieces and nephews.
