WATERLOO – Kathleen "Kathy" R. Tanner, 56, of Waterloo, NY, died unexpectedly at her home Tuesday (March 16, 2021). In keeping with the wishes of the family there will be no calling hours. A service will be 11 a.m. Friday (April 9, 2021) at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Pre-Emption Road, Geneva, NY. Rev. Thomas Mull, pastor of Our Lady of Peace Parish, will officiate. A celebration of her life will be 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday (June 5, 2021) at the Finger Lakes Moose Club, 453 Waterloo-Geneva, Rd., Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Kathy was born June 10, 1964, in Seneca Falls, NY, the daughter of Ronald and Josephine Fiocaglio Tanner. She was a 1983 graduate of Waterloo Central High School. Kathleen was employed with various Finger Lakes retail businesses, the latest was Wal-mart where she was employed for 24 years. She was a member of the Finger Lakes Moose Club. She is survived by her fiancé David Hefferon of Waterloo, NY; mother Josephine Tanner of Waterloo, NY; sister Sharyl Krone of Waterloo, NY; brother Ronald Tanner of Seneca Falls, NY; and nephew Adam Tanner; and Dave's kids and grandchildren.
