Obituary of David William Patrick

WATERLOO – David W. Patrick, 65, of Waterloo, NY, died Monday (January 18, 2021) at F. F. Thompson Hospital, Canandaigua, NY. Family and friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday (February 13, 2021) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The memorial service will immediately follow calling hours at the funeral home. Rev. James Fennessy, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate. All those attending calling hours and/or the memorial service MUST wear face masks and social distance. All those attending calling hours and/or the memorial service MUST ENTER the funeral home through the parking lot doors and EXIT through the Main St. doors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly Animal Shelter, 50 E. River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Dave was born June 28, 1955, in Geneva, NY, the son of Kenneth O. and Angelina Libertore Patrick. He was a graduate of Geneva High School. In his younger years he loved to wrestle and passed his experience and knowledge of wrestling to his children. He also helped to coach Tee ball. Dave was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, being by the pool, and beating his children to the task of mowing the lawn even if he missed big patches of grass. Dave was a jack of all trades and always a phone call away to help his family and friends. Whether it was fixing a tractor, a pump, or electrical issues, it was an electrifying time! He was employed with Voplex in Canandaigua, NY, until his became disabled. He is survived by his wife Deborah Sue Patrick of Waterloo, NY; daughter Stacey (Michael Bajdas) Patrick of Waterloo, NY; sons Robert (Aubrie) Patrick of Waterloo, NY and Kevin (Kaitlyn Hubright) Patrick of Geneva, NY; grandchildren Colton Patrick, Jackson Patrick, Dakota Bajdas, Mickaila Bajdas, Kendra Patrick, Zeke Patrick, and Jace Hubright; brothers Ronald (Mary Ann) Patrick of Geneva, NY, Daniel (Linda) Patrick of Clifton Springs, NY, Thomas Patrick of Penn Yan, NY, and Michael Patrick of Springfield, MA; sisters Carol (Craig Carlson) Patrick of Geneva, NY and Karen (Justin) Wawrzaszek of Clifton Springs, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
