Cynthia French posted a condolence

Nancy was our neighbor and paper carrier on E. Elisha St. It was always a joy to see her on her bicycle coming down the street with a smile on her face and a warm hello. She greeted each one of our kids by name and would ask them about school or sports, I think she knew everyone's entire family on her route and around town. She not only delivered the newspaper but also kept us updated on tidbits of info about the churches and other town events. It was a little bit like Mayberry RFD having her here. Now our paper is brought to us in the morning by the mailman. Nancy would not have liked it! It was impressive how much she was involved in the community, how well she took care of her mother and her cats. Rest In Peace Nancy my friend- more of us should learn from you.

To Nancy's family,
I was sorry to see about the passing of Nancy. I always remember her giving a friendly wave and a happy greeting when she was riding her bike by the house. My sincere condolences. She will be missed.
Regards,

To Nancy's family:
My fondest remembrance of Nancy was when she worked for Gordan Bush at Bush's grocery store. My mother invited her to come to our house next door on her supper break each evening. We had already eaten earlier, but she would bring her bagged meal with her an sit in a more relaxed atmosphere--than the store room of the store--and talk to mom while she ate. She always had news of the happenings of Waterloo. Nancy was a kind, hard working woman who loved people. May she rest in the peace and love of God. "Well done good and faithful servant."

Always a smile to those she met. Loved her family and friends more than life itself. RIP sweet Nancy.
