WATERLOO – James A. Robinson, Sr., 77, of Waterloo, NY, died Thursday (January 2, 2020) at Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Waterloo, NY. In keeping with Jim's wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be at a later time. Jim was born July 5, 1942, in Langdon, MO, the son of Robert L., Sr., and Etta L. Easley Robinson. He was a U.S. Army veteran and proudly served during the Viet Nam era. Jim loved his work and was employed as welder and maintenance worker at Goulds Pumps in Seneca Falls, NY, until his retirement. He had a passion for collecting, rebuilding and showing classic cars. He is survived by sons James (Laura) A. Robinson, Jr., of St. Louis, MO, Mark (Michelle Dean) A. Robinson of W. Columbia, S.C., and Kyle (Teresa) A. Robinson of Waterloo, NY; grandchildren Morgan, Alexandra, Jaden, Jillian, Megan (Adam) Rey, and Matthew (Jillian) Jones; many great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren Sabastian and Madeline; Whom he was excited to get to know, but unfortunately passed away before the opportunity presented itself.; siblings Robert (Barbara) Robinson of Waterloo, NY, Marjorie (Walter) Hauf of Waterloo, NY, Joyce Henry of Rochester, NY, Betty (Tony) DeSarro of Seneca Falls, NY, and Patsy Hauf of Lyons, NY. He loved his entire family and cherished the moments he shared with all of his nieces and nephews who continued to visit and support him through his days. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley C. Robinson, whom he would visit weekly to maintain her final resting place until his health would no longer allow.
