SENECA FALLS – Allan Curtis Porsch, 61, of Seneca Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (December 20, 2018) at his residence. Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday (Dec. 27) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo, NY. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. Leah Ntuala, pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls, will officiate. Spring burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Seneca Falls, NY. Curtis was born in Brookville, PA, on July 23, 1957, the son of the late Allan and Sarah Armstrong Porsch. Curtis attended Mynderse Academy in the mid-1970s. He was a longtime parishioner at the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls. For 42 years, Curtis attended Seneca Cayuga ARC. Curtis loved life, enjoyed reading, watching sports and visiting with family. Curtis is survived by four siblings, Raymond (Susan) Porsch of Johnstown, PA, Marilyn (Eric) Erickson of Emporium, PA, Barry (Kathleen) Porsch of Seneca Falls, NY, and Lesley Clark of San Pedro, CA; an aunt, Laura Vogt of Irvine, CA; several cousins, nephews and a niece; and his housemates at his ARC home. He was predeceased by his father in 1987, his mother in 2015, and his sister, Jene Younkin, in 2014. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
