Waterloo – Albert "Al" R. Mitchell, 76, 1435 Gassner Rd., died Monday (October 29, 2018) in Geneva General Hospital, with his loving wife and daughter by his side. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday (Nov. 5) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Dale Andrews, pastor of the Assembly of God Church in Geneva, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, New York. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one's choice. Al was born March 19, 1942 in Waterloo, NY, the son of Roy M. and Lillian E. Erway Mitchell. He was a farmer and a self-taught mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Chris Y. Mitchell; daughter, Debbie (Ken) Grass of Waterloo, NY; grandson, Kenny (Mila) Grass of Pasadena, CA; brother, Roy (Debbie) Mitchell of Lawrenceville, PA; sister, Gale (Fred) Wray of Little River, SC; and many nieces and nephews. Al was predeceased by his sisters, Bernice Norsen, Barbara Rose, and Sandra Goodier; and brothers, John Mitchell, James Mitchell, Jerry Mitchell, Danny Mitchell and Greg Mitchell.
