Romulus – Doris E. Conley Keel, 89, passed on Wednesday (June 20, 2018). There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday June 27) at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 101 E. Williams St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Haugaard, rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Waterloo, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church or Seneca Falls Library, 47 Cayuga St., Seneca Fall, NY, 13148. Doris was born June 19, 1929, the daughter of Harry and Josephine Board Conley. She was a 1946 graduate of Waterloo High School. Doris began working with Seneca County Treasurer's Office and later, was employed with Romulus Central School District as District Treasurer, until her retirement. She was organist for St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waterloo for many years. Doris was a longtime member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was a 4-H leader for many years. Doris was also a member of Rose Hill Grange. She was an avid reader. Doris and her husband, Harold enjoyed many years of camping and traveling. She is survived by daughters, Kathryn Keel of Seneca Falls, NY and Karen Davis of Navarre, FL; grandchildren, Jonathon Collins, Ryan (Jessica) Davis, Aaron Davis, and Tyler Davis; three step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Brayden Davis, Benjamin Davis, and Josephine Davis; three step great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, John (Vanlon) Keel of Romulus, NY; four nieces and six nephews. Doris is predeceased by her first husband of 44 years, Harold D. Keel and her second husband of 11 years Eugene Doran; and sister, Helen Lipker and brother-in-law, William Lipker.
