Junius/Waterloo – Darren W. Porter, 48, of 1075 Donnelly Road, died Monday (April 23, 2018) at his home. There will be no calling hours. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday (April 29, 2018) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. Rev. Floyd Marsh, pastor of Harvest Field Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday (April 30, 2018) at Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Wayne County Humane Society, 1475 County House Rd., Lyons, NY, 14489. Darren was born Nov. 3, 1969, in Geneva, NY, the son of Wellington W. and Doris C. Murray Porter, Jr. He was a 1987 graduate of Waterloo High School. Darren was employed with Dendis Sand and Gravel in Phelps, NY. He also owned and operated Aubbie's Clock Restoration and Repair in Waterloo, NY. He is survived by his daughters, Kayla (Cory Bogdanovitch) Porter of Waterloo, NY and Nicole Porter of Batavia, NY; granddaughter, Aubree Porter of Waterloo, NY; mother and step-father, Doris (Gary) Yaw of Waterloo, NY; sister, Peggy (Thomas) Cole of Waterloo, NY; nephew and niece, John Cole and Meghan Cole; and his loving companion, Kelly Meyers.
