Geneva - Doris Helen Woodward, 94, of Geneva, died Thursday (January 31, 2013) after a brief illness at Living Center South in Geneva. The memorial service will be Saturday (Feb. 9) at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Aunkst Rd. in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to LDS Church, Aunkst Rd., Waterloo, 13165. Doris was born January 21, 1919 in Bronxville, the daughter of Clinton and Elsa Woodward. She graduated High School then attended Butler Business School in Yonkers. She worked for Macmillan Ringfree Oil Co. managing the offices in NYC. After retiring in 1983 Doris moved to Geneva and purchased the house of her dreams. She was an active missionary and member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She is survived by her niece: Michelle Woodward of Valhalla, cousins: Patricia Simmons of Bermuda, Robert Shanks and Dr. Dan Shanks both of VA. She was predeceased by her brother Walter Woodward.
