Waterloo – Edward W. Doty, Sr., 80, died Friday (August 11, 2017) in Seneca Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 23) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 24) at the Waterloo United Methodist Church, 21 E. William St. Rev. Laura Calos, pastor of the Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, NY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waterloo United Methodist Church, 21 E. William St., Waterloo, NY, 13165.
Ed was born Feb. 8, 1937, in Lodi, NY, the son of Claire Keefer Doty. He retired from Seneca Knitting Mill in Seneca Falls, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Leoma Laribee Doty; son, Edward W. Herman of Seneca Falls, NY; daughter, Barbara Doty of Geneva, NY; four grandchildren; brothers, Frances Doty and Emmett (Barbara) Doty.
