Obituary of Susan Mary McDonald

Susan M. Pierson McDonald WATERLOO– Susan M. Pierson McDonald, 57, of 800 Hecker Rd., died Monday (May 29, 2017) in Geneva General Hospital, with her loving family by her side. Friends may call from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday (June 3) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. William Darrow, pastor of Calvary Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo, at the convenience of the family. In lieu offlowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beverly's Animal Shelter, 50 E.River St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Sue was born Oct. 23, 1959, in Waterloo, NY, the daughter of William R. and Lemian A. Kime Pierson. She was a 1977 graduate of Waterloo High School. Sue was employed for 25 years at Elston Electronics in Geneva. After the closing of Elston Electronics, she was employed at Z-Axis in Phelps. Sue left Z-Axis to work as a computer consultant. She was recently employed with Rochester Precision Optics, until she became disabled. She is survived by her husband, Mark D. McDonald; daughter, Alissa (Aaron) Youngs of Waterloo, NY; son, Kyle Craig of Waterloo, NY; grandchildren, Jordan and Carter Peterson, Levi and Payton Youngs; mother, Lemian A. Pierson of Bath, NY; sisters, JoAnn (Michael) Slovak of Bath, NY and Karen (David Daeffler) Schaup of Leesburg, FL; brother, James W. (Jackie) Pierson of Pfafftown, NC; step-brothers, George (Shirleen) Hanselman of Waterloo and David (Sonja) Hanselman of Greene, NY; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
