Doris L. Kenyon Ovid - Doris L. Kenyon, 92, of Ovid, died Wednesday (January 23, 2013) at Absolut Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation at Three Rivers, LLC in Painted Post. Friends may call 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday (May 12) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday (May 12) at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to an organization of one's choice. Doris was born March 4, 1920 in Waterloo, the daughter of Watson and Lillian Marshall Logue. She was a 1939 graduate of Waterloo High School. She was employed with Sampson State Hospital until it closed, then worked at Rochester State Hospital. She later worked for Willard State Hospital until retiring. She was a resident of Waterloo until 1943, when she moved to the Bellona and Montour Falls areas. She was a resident of Ovid for over 40 years. She is survived by four daughters: Brenda K. (Dale) Nichols of Bartow, FL, Sharon A. (Dr. Gerry) Wilcove of Memphis, TN, Nancy L. (Edmund) Silva of High Point, N.C., and Linda L. Kenyon of Corning, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and her son's widow: Sharon Letteer Kenyon of Montour Falls. She was predeceased by her husband: Charles H. Kenyon, Jr., one son: Steven C. Kenyon, and three brothers Donald, Lester, and James Logue.
