Donald E. Sheradin FAYETTE/GENEVA– Donald E. Sheradin, 97, a former residentof Fayette and Geneva, died Sunday (February 19, 2017) at New Roc Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rochester. Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday (February 25, 2017) at the Fayette Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Aunkst Rd., Waterloo, N.Y. The funeral service will immediately follow at the chapel. Bishop Brian Lowry, will officiate. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Geneva, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY, 14620. Don was born April 28, 1919 in Fayette, N.Y., the son of Earl and Anna Martha Wilhemina Werner Sheradin. Don was a WWII Army veteran. He owned and operated Don's Welding Shop in Geneva for many years. He is survived by his granddaughter, Amy E. (Michael) Whitney ofSpokane, Wash.; grandsons Shaun (Kelsey) Blackham of Bothell, Wash. and Trent (Jessica) Blackham of Provo, Utah; great-grandchildren Kelsy Whitney, Asher Whitney, Benjamin Whitney, and Maxwell Blackham; and many nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his wife, Alice J. Sheradin, who died in 1990; son, Robert D. Sheradin, who died in 1969; and daughter, Linda A.Blackham, who died in 1990.
