Waterloo – Sherry A. Cardinale, 60, of 504 W. River Rd., died (February 9, 2017) at her home. There will be no calling hours. A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday (Feb. 15) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ontario ARC, 3071 County Complex Dr., Canandaigua, NY, 14424. Sherry was born Dec. 21, 1956, in Clifton Springs, NY, the daughter of James and Theresa Dunn Ross. She graduated from Gorham High School. Sherry also graduated from CCFL in Canandaigua. She was employed with Ontario ARC for many years, retiring in 2015. She is survived by her son, Daniel (Erin) Kosienski of Waterloo; daughter, Heidi (Michael) Yip of New York, NY; stepson, Matthew (Nicole) Cardinale of Seneca Falls; grandson, Hunter Alan Kosienski; mother, Theresa Ross of Phelps; brothers, James Ross, Jr. of Phelps, NY, Frank (Nancy) Ross of Colorado Springs, CO, Rusty Ross of Phelps, NY, and Barry (Lisa) Ross of Rushville, NY; sisters, Bonnie Adams of Clyde, NY, Brenda (Jeff) Bailey of Geneva, and Sandra Doty of Phelps; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Sherry was predeceased by her husband, Alan A. Cardinale, who died Jan. 27, 2015; father, James Ross; grandmother, Frances Dunn; sister-in-law, Onnolee Ross; brother-in-law, Daniel Doty.
