To all the Patsos family and friends, I am so sincerely sorry for your loss. Jim was a great man, husband and father. Our world and society was a better place for his presence and influence in it. His children and the impact he had on his friends and community are a testament to the intelligent, positive and kind impact he continues to make through them. WE all have lost a friend. But especially to his family he was a man of strength and energy. Jim made a difference in many ways as a volunteer a Ayrshire spokes person and etc. My life as been enriched by knowing Jim and some of his family.

Dear Jim and Debbie and family: I was so sorry to learn of your Dad's death. I am sure you miss him in so many ways. Jim was a wonderful supporter of Chenango County Extension programs, and I feel fortunate in knowing him and I was sorry to learn of Betsy's death. She was truly a wonderful person. I moved from Seneca County to Chenango County 6 years ago to be nearer my daughter, as I have macular degeneration, more severely in my right eye. Fortunately, I can still drive. I served with Jim on the Ayrshire board for a number of years and considered he and Betsy good friends. I admired the detail and precision in which he performed his treasurers duties and welcomed his thoughtful input on all subjects.
