Together Again ROMULUS - Lewis Hobart Kime, 93, of Romulus joined his beloved wife Connie on April 30, 2016, after a short illness. Honoring family wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Sampson State Park, c/o Dolores Dinsmore, 6096 Rt. 96A, Romulus, NY, 14541 or Honor Flight Rochester, Inc., PO Box 23581, Rochester, NY, 14692. Lewis was born April 13, 1923, in Fayette, the son of Robert F. and Blanche E. Pierson Kime. He served in the Navy during W.W.II. Lewis had basic training at Sampson Naval Base, trained to be a Navy Diver in New Orleans and was stationed in Guam. He attended Wentworth Institute in Boston for machinist training. His first job was with Mid-State Body in Waterloo, making Woody's. Later he worked at Goulds Pumps, retiring in 1985 as foreman of the Shipping Department after 45 years of employment. Lewis was a member of Grace Episcopal Church Willowdale. He was an active member of the Sampson Navy Museum, W.W.II. Veteran's Association. An avid motorcyclist, he was a member of International Northeastern Harley-Davidson Dresser and Touring Association. Lewis was also a member and past master of Fayette Lodge 539, F. & A. Most of all he loved his family, the family farm and riding his Harley. He is survived by daughters: MaryLou (Edward) Maguire of Seneca Falls and Susan (Robert) Glanville of Boston; granddaughter: Sarah (Chris) Compeau and their children, Matthew and Charlie, all of Manlius; sister-in-law: Dorothy Kime of Geneva; brother-in-law: Anthony (Ruth) Tucceri of Manchester; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Donald and Robert Kime. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coegenungfuneralhome.com.
