WATERLOO – Charles C. Sheldon, 66, of 1646 Strong Rd., died Sunday (May 15, 2016) at his home with his loving family by his side. A memorial service will be announced at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Interlakes Oncology, 511 W. Washington St. Geneva, NY 14456 or Lifetime Care Hospice, 3111 Winton Rd. South, Rochester, NY 14623-9915. Charles was born Sept. 13, 1949, in Fulton, the son of Kenneth and Mary Isham Sheldon. He was a graduate of Candor High School. Charles was a tractor trailer driver for his sister, Betty's Trucking in Waterloo. Later he retired from Lyons Road Trash, Geneva. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Beverly J. Norconk Sheldon; children, Geneva Verno of Barton, Stacy Nixon of Owego, Charles C. Sheldon, II of Waverly, Peggijo Sheldon of Binghamton, Sherry (Gary) Diaz of Waterloo, Marshall (Kim) Balzer of Candor, Michael (Carolyn) Balzer of Seneca Falls, Beth (Jeffrey Quill) Woodard of Seneca Falls, Laura Woodard of Seneca Falls, and John Woodard of Apple Valley, Calif.; 29 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Anthony of N. Rose; brothers, Kenneth (Nancy) Sheldon of Newark Valley, Michael (Emily) Sheldon of Berkshire, and Roger (Dusti) Sheldon of Cincinnatus; sister-in-law, Joyce Sheldon of Candor; many nieces and nephews.
