WATERLOO - Keith D. Beck, 82, of 2102 Brewer Rd., died Wednesday (May 18, 2016) in Geneva General Hospital with his loving family by his side. Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday (May 23) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home. Rev. William Reigle, pastor of Phelps Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Canoga Cemetery in Canoga. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Phelps Baptist Church, 28 Church St., Phelps, NY 14532 or American Cancer Society , 1120 S. Goodman St., Rochester, NY 14620. Keith was born July 6, 1933, in Canoga, the son of Percy E. and Ruth E. Hopkins Beck. He served in the U. S. Army from 1954 to 1956. Keith retired after 30 years of employment with Seneca Army Depot. He served for many years on the Town of Waterloo Planning Board and Seneca County Planning Board. Keith was a member of Phelps Baptist Church. Keith loved people and cherished each day. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Flora Woodard Beck; son, Keith D. Beck, Jr. of Howard; daughter, Sue Anne Beck of Liverpool; sister, Shirley (George) Proseus of Altmar; many nieces and nephews. Keith was predeceased by brothers, Lynn and Gail Beck; sisters, Jean Sanpietro, Norma Olschewske, and Mary Pagano. Condolences for the family may be sent to www.coegenungfuneral home.com.
