Obituary of Hilda Clara Cavali

Hilda C. Cavali WATERLOO/JUNIUS – Hilda C. Cavali, 77, of 937 Birdsey Rd., died Saturday (June 11, 2016) at her home with her family by her side. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (June 14) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday (June 15) at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterloo. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 25 Center St., Waterloo, NY, 13165. Hilda was born July 21, 1938, in Waterloo, the daughter of Andrew and Ella Wiest Keller. She worked in the cafeteria for the Waterloo Central School District for ten years, then drove school bus for the district, until her retirement. Hilda was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, whom she married Sept. 19, 1959, Philip J. Cavali; sons, Philip J. Cavali, Jr. of SherrillsFord, N.C. and Steven (Ellen) Cavali of Waterloo; grandson, Philip J. Cavali, III of Keyser, W. V.; step-grandchildren, Michael Smith of Seneca Falls and Sarah Smith of Waterloo; great-grandson, Andre Kerns; brothers, David (Jenny) Keller of Ocala, Fla. and Jacob Keller of Waterloo; sisters, Alma Russell of Greensboro, N.C. and Elsie Johnson of Warner Robins, Ga.; and many nieces and nephews.
