Obituary of Jose Garcia-Perez

Geneva - Jose G. Garcia Perez, 86, of 74 Lyceum St., died Monday (September 30, 2015) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva. There will be no calling hours. The private funeral service will be at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the organization of one's choice. Jose was born April 15, 1929 in Ponce, PR, the son of Flor and Eleanor Garcia Perez. He was employed as a foreman of the maintenance department for many years, until he retired, with Villa Univertaria College in Humacao, PR. He is survived by lifetime companion, Isabel Morey; son, Jose (Shirley) Garcia of Waterloo; stepsons, Felipe Bizardi, Jr. of Ceiba, PR, Robert (Maria) Bizardi and Alfredo Bizardi both of Geneva; step daughter, Doris Rodriquiz of Brooklyn; granddaughters, Jessica Cioc and Amy Garcia; brother, Miguel Garcia of Orlando; sister, Elba Marrero Garcia of Humacao, PR; many nieces and nephews.. Jose was predeceased by stepson, Isabelo Bizardi; stepdaughter, Iris Rodriquiz; sisters, Adelina Rodriquiz Garcia and Nilda Arroyo Garcia.
