Waterloo - Rodney G. Buck, 83, 74 Virginia St., Apt. 4, died Monday (August 31, 2015) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to organization of one's choice. Rodney was born May 18, 1932 in Geneva, the son of Harvey J. and Dorothy L. Cooper Buck. After graduating from Waterloo High School he was employed with Hahn's Meat Market in Waterloo. Leaving employment from the meat market he was employed with the New York State Department of Transportation, until his retirement. He is survived by daughter, Deborah (Romaine "Butch") Dutcher of Waterloo; Kip (Deb Wright) Buck and Brian (fiancee, Peg Irland) all of Waterloo; five granddaughters; five great-grandson and one great-granddaughter; brother, Howard C. Buck of Loganville, GA; sisters, Dorothy B. Vogt of Geneva, Audrey R. Stahlnecker of Newark, and Dolores J. (Bland) Beaver of Waterloo; and many nieces and nephews. Rod was predeceased by his wife, Alice Emerick Buck; son, Randall Buck, daughter, Rhonda Buck; brother, Lester Buck; and sister, Marjorie Barry.
