She was 1941 graduate of Waterloo High School. Dorothy was employed at W. T. Grants, until they closed. She then worked for five years at Fays Drug Store in Seneca Falls. Dorothy was a past member of the Springbrook Home Bureau. She was a lifetime member of Seneca Falls Elks Auxiliary 992. Dorothy was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Seneca Falls.
