Waterloo - Milton Alan Jones, 73, of Waterloo, died Saturday (July 11, 2015) at Geneva General Hospital in Geneva, with his loving family by his side. Friends may call 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (July 15) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. Military rites will be 7 p.m. Wednesday (July 15) at the funeral home by members of Waterloo Memorial Post 6433, V.F.W. and Warner VanRiper Post 435, American Legion. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday (July 16) at Fayette Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Brian Lowry, will officiate. Burial will be in Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 1120 South Goodman Street, Rochester, N.Y. 14620. Milton was born October 3, 1941 in Waterloo, the son of Donald R. and Gertrude A. Cooley Jones. He was a 1959 graduate of Waterloo High School. He served in the Navy from 1959 to 1962 in Bermuda. He was employed with Gould Pumps for 39 years. Milton was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a member of Warner VanRiper Post 435, American Legion, North Seneca Sportsmans' Horseshoe League and the Sunset Bowling League. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda L. Jones; daughters, April D. Jones, Joelle (Robert) Jensen both of Penn Yan; and Kandis (Daniel) Wright of Lehi, Utah; ten grandchildren, Kayliegh Jensen, Corey Jones, Nicholas Jones, Cameron Jones, Cole Wright, Jonah Wright, Isaiah Washington, Evy Wright, Massan Jensen and Arianna Washington; his mother Gertrude A. Jones; sisters, Shirley (Ron) Steele of Florida; Kathie (Harry) Rowlinson of Waterloo and Nancy (Charles) Luffman of Seneca Falls; sister-in-law, Sheryl Jones of Seneca Falls; many nieces and nephews.
