Obituary of Richard Zukowski

Waterloo - Richard E. Zukowski, 67, of 210 Brookside Dr., died Wednesday (May 13, 2015) at home, with his loving family by his side. Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. n Sunday (May 17) at Coe-Genung Funeral Home in Waterloo. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday (May 18) St. Mary's Catholic Church, Center St., Waterloo. The Rev. James Fennessy, pastor, will officiate. Burial Will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Waterloo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wilmot Cancer Center 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, New York, 14620. Richard was born May 30, 1947, in Geneva, the son of Constantine and Edith (DeFrancesco) Zukowski. Dick was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a 1965 graduate of Waterloo High School and worked at Goulds Pumps for 43 years where he retired as a Process Engineer. Zuke cherished spending time with family and friends especially his grandkids. He enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and his winters with his friends in Myrtle Beach. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Martha Zukowski; daughters, Suzanne (Matthew) Baylor and Renee (Christopher) Thomas of Waterloo; brother, Edward (Amy) Zukowski, of Plattsburg; sisters, Colleen (Bill White) Booth and Lori (Scott) Bonacci both of Waterloo; five grandchildren Andrew, Alex, and Abigail Baylor, Elizabeth and Emma Thomas; many nieces and nephews.
